We recently had the pleasure of hosting a really relevant webinar with Cloudfind.AI, the technology behind Publisher Discovery, alongside our Head of Agency, Leanna Klyne.
And honestly, this one hit on something I think a lot of brands still have not fully clocked yet.
We all know AI is changing search. We all know people are asking ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI tools what to buy, which brands to trust, and who is worth paying attention to. But what most businesses still cannot see clearly is this: how AI is actually reading their brand, what it understands about them, where competitors are being surfaced first, and why. That was the core of this session. As Leanna put it at the start, the real question now is how brands get seen by customers when search behaviour is shifting and AI is becoming part of discovery.
What made this webinar valuable was that it did not stay in theory.
Matt walked through how the Cloudfind.AI platform helps brands understand their AI visibility profile, compare themselves against competitors, identify where they are being outperformed, and then actually do something about it. He framed the key questions clearly: how is your brand being represented by AI recommendations, which competitors are being surfaced ahead of you, what is causing the visibility gap, and most importantly, how do you improve it.
That last part is where this got interesting for me.
A lot of tools will tell you there is a problem. Fewer tools show you where the gaps are. Even fewer help you move straight into action. What stood out in this demo was that Cloudfind.AI does not just highlight issues. It generates action plans, shows where improvements need to be made, and even uses AI agents to help execute those tasks. Matt showed how brands can assess their entity visibility, compare brand vs brand, analyse product-level visibility, identify category gaps, and build what he called attack plans against competitors already winning the AI conversation.
That matters because SEO alone is no longer the full picture.
One of the clearest lines from the session was Matt’s point that most brands still assume SEO performance equals visibility, and that is simply no longer true. More category discovery is now happening inside AI systems themselves, where the rules of visibility are different.
What I also liked is that this is not just about one channel.
During the webinar, Leanna called out that the platform has obvious relevance for affiliate and partnership teams, but it also reaches into SEO, PR, brand, web auditing, content, influencer discovery, and reputation management. Matt backed that up in the demo, showing how the tool covers publisher recruitment, influencer identification, website and homepage audits, competitor gap analysis, social post evaluation, and brand risk monitoring.
From an agency point of view, that is where this becomes especially useful.
Because once you can see where the gaps are, what competitors are doing differently, which publishers and influencers are helping shape AI visibility, and what practical actions can shift your positioning, you move from vague concern about AI into something you can actually work with. Leanna said during the session that her favourite part of the platform was exactly that – it gives actionable things to go and chase, rather than just showing you a score and leaving you there.
Another important takeaway was that every brand now has an AI visibility profile, whether they are tracking it or not. Matt’s point was simple: the question is whether you can see it, measure it, and improve it before your competitors widen the gap. He also made the point that once AI systems learn something about your brand, that training data tends to stick, which makes early action even more important.
That is the real opportunity here.
Not just knowing how AI sees your brand, but understanding what to do next.
